Kin-nashiji-maki is a technique where nashiji gold powder is sprinkled on the surface of urushi, and after drying, a highly pure transparent urushi called nashiji-urushi is applied, and the gold powder is polished so that it is not exposed. The powder is visible through the transparent urushi film.
